If one do searches for tiananmen in Google images, it is interesting that one get so different responses when one searches for “tiananmen” or “Tiananmen”. Notice that the only difference is lower and upper case in the initial ’t'. I guess the second version will not exist for so long time.
Updated:As of Nov 26 2009, there is no difference in the search results anymore.
There have at least in Sweden been a lot of discussion about the launch of a “censored” version of Google in China. I was myself in radio (P4 Extra) Thursday Jan 26 and talked about it. If you find a recording of the program, I was talking about 13:36-13:45 (the program started at 13:03).
