We got a new government Friday last week (Oct 6). A set of new ministers where appointed by the prime minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. What is still unclear is where IT issues will end up. The website of the government just say it is part of the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications. One can though by looking at the pages in English understand the update of the web pages is not ready yet, as Ulrica Messing (former minister for IT) is still the appointed minister.
For me personally, the most important thing is that the coordination of IT issues that the administrative office of the IT Policy and Strategy Group has been working with continues. What the IT Policy and Strategy Group will say as a whole will be known when the final report is released within a few days.
