When buying an extension cord in the USA in March 2005, the cable had this note on it. I can not understand why it is so important to not remove the note, and further, if the cord is only 6 inches, can one not see that? I.e. if it was 12 feet, it could be interesting to know whether it was 12 or 13 feet.
