A friend of mine Joakim Jardenberg has acquired vanity license plates on his car. The string on the plates is GOOGLE. He asked for the plates, paid, and voila, the plates are his for 10 years. One can ask oneselves what now happens. And how could this happen? Swedish road authorities have obviously no direct contact with the trademark office, and Google Sweden have obviously not had so much interest in buying the plates themselves.
